A train journey

It was 3.15 as I rushed down the steps towards the platform to catch a train that was supposed to arrive 10 minutes ago but thanks to the railway intervention and modern technology, I arrived before the train.
As I was rushing to the place where I predicted the coach position and was standing shy of the yellow line I saw a cute boy, but not my priority now, captured him in my mind and moved on. I knew there was no need to rush, I had booked the tickets. But there was this immense joy I derived from rushing in first to find my seat to be a window seat, is petty! I know. But I never get tired of it!!
Bags up, bottle in hand, wallet nearby, snacks checked, phone checked, head phone checked. All settled, scanned the coach to get a feel of my neighbors. Guess what?? I found him. The cute boy from earlier, opposite and already snacking. My heart leapt and my brain said this was definitely divine intervention!!
The train began, she had to catch up on the time lost and I lost myself in the greenery and music. Exhausted after too much of green.  I started looking for other form of entertainment. I look over, and there my muse was happily snoring in his own dreamland. I decided I wanted to join him too and happily closed my eyes.
A sudden jerk, I was awoken from my deep slumber and my eyes clashes with the browns of his! OMG he was looking at me and this was the moment my mind decided to shut down. In a haste.. I smiled. I know blah.. But I couldn’t help it. He was so cute!!
Then the journey took on a new phase as we exchanged more smiles. He seemed shy, but apparently courageous enough to inquire about me to his friend, that too loudly!! uhh.. BOYS!! Enough was enough, I decided to intervene and started a polite conversation. He just needed an opening, soon he took over and wouldn’t stop chatting.. He told me stories about his favorite sports, his reason for travel, his destination and his favorite heroes! He was a Iron man fan!!.. eeeeeeee..And my heart did a dance!! He got so excited that he wanted to show me his dance moves but couldn’t find the space, rather he sent me hearts!!

This was the beginning of the shortest love story that I’ll ever have!! Sadly, the journey had to come to an end. Getting his number was out of question. You see, no sane mother would let her three year old  have a mobile!!  It was there I waved good bye to the cute little munchkin I met, Karam was his name and this was the story of how he stole my heart in a wink!
